CBE Interest Rate Decision

The CBE Interest Rate Decision is announced by the Central Bank of Egypt. If the CBE is hawkish about the inflationary outlook of the South Egyptian economy and rises the interest rates it is positive, or bullish, for the EGP. Likewise, if the CBE has a dovish view on the economy and keeps the ongoing interest rate, or cuts the interest rate, it is seen as negative, or bearish.
